WoW Video Favs

I’ve seen a lot of WoW videos online – some are downright mind blowing and others are downright tedious. I felt it would be fun to share my favorites here.

So sit back and enjoy!

Nogg-aholic the Movie

My favorite machinima, ever. This movie defines everything that I love about the joy of exploration and playing WoW in its early days. I will never forget the days and days I spent exploring the world, just for the sake of exploration. There are so many hidden spots in the game that are distant memories these days, visited occasionally when out trekking on some achievement run. Even to this day I have the soundtrack to this video loaded on my iPhone and listen to it regularly. Love it!

World of Cryingcraft
“who doesn’t miss… hunters, that’s who”

Shade of Aran Chant
“I will not move when flame wreath is cast or the raid blows up”

Wandering Dreamscape

A wonderfully done redesign of various zones in WoW using some modeling tools – simply brilliant. I think I’ve watched this movie about 20 times.

Wandering Dreamscape 2 – Ephemeral Dreamscape

Another Snoman production, with more edited greatness.

Jimmy: The World of Warcraft Story

AFAIK this was made for YouTube’s WoW contest several months back.

Leeroy Jenkins

A classic… THE classic.

Funeral Raid on Illidan

It’s long, but well worth it. I may find this more entertaining because I spent my first year in WoW on a PvP realm.

Big Blue Dress

“the weapons of my choice is great balls of fire”

Riker attempts WoW

MacGyver Saves World of Warcraft
“a paperclip, some duct tape and a Large Brilliant Shard”

WoW Simulator
This one might be my favorite

South Park: Make Love Not Warcraft
Emmy-winning episode

Baron Soosdon’s videos, staring with the Unlimited Escapism seies
Volume 1

Volume 2

Volume 3

Volume 4

Volume 5

I’m So Sick

The Device Has Been Modified

Soosdon’s videos were mind-bending in the way they incorporated music, special effects and alternate in-game realities/model changes. Just tons of fun to watch.

If I think of more, I’ll add ’em.
